February 4, 2026

We are proud of the journey, untidy as it may have been, because it is raw and honest. It is real.

As we step into February, we find ourselves standing on the edge of a significant moment. Ten years since we first opened our doors. Ten years is a long time to commit to anything. In our industry, it can feel even longer. This is a business built on rejection. Pitches not chosen. Ideas not aligned. Doors that do not open when you expect them to. To stay the course for a decade requires more than talent. It requires belief. Belief in the work, belief in the people, and belief that rejection is not a verdict, but part of the process..

With that milestone approaching, what comes rushing back is not just memory, but meaning. Memories of persistence and doubt, of uphill climbs, of moments that tested us and moments that quietly affirmed why we started in the first place.
When I look back to the beginning, I feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude. Gratitude not only for where we are today, but for who we have become along the way. If I could speak to myself ten years ago, I am not sure they would believe the agency we have grown into was possible. Not because the ambition was lacking, but because the clarity only comes through experience. You do not start with answers. You start with questions. And often, the most important one is simply why.

SANCHO® did not begin as an agency in the traditional sense. It began with a need. A need to bring together freelance services, to connect skills and people, and to offer something more cohesive than the fragmented options available at the time. We did not begin with agency experience or formal business knowledge. What we had instead was belief. Belief in collaboration. Belief in craft. Belief that work done with intention could create trust. SANCHO® was not built overnight. It was the culmination of years of passion, curiosity, and a refusal to let uncertainty be a reason not to begin.

Over the past decade, we have learned that growth is rarely tidy. Progress does not move in straight lines. It comes with setbacks, rethinking, rebuilding, and moments where the path forward feels unclear. And yet, those moments are not failures. They are signals. They teach you what matters. They shape your culture. They reveal what you stand for when things are uncomfortable.

Today, as we close one chapter and step fully into the next, we recognise that we are no longer the agency we once were. And that is something to celebrate. We are proud of the journey, untidy as it may have been, because it is honest. It is real. It reflects the work, the relationships, and the trust built along the way. Most importantly, it reflects the impact we have had on our clients, not just in what we deliver, but in what we inspire.

This anniversary is not just a marker of time. It is a reminder of purpose. Of why we exist, who we serve, and the responsibility that comes with growth. As we look forward to celebrating this milestone, we are equally excited about the era that follows. Because the work is far from finished. If anything, the clearest sense of direction often arrives after you have walked the longest road.

Ten years on, we are still guided by belief. And that belief continues to lead us forward.
