Starting off during the height of the pandemic, Uwejja was brought about to create a shift in the Maltese digital sphere. They offered a range of expertise to their clients, from design conceptualisaion to UI/UX development; but have now grown to a point where their offering has gone international and have decided to specialised on web-focused solutions, with an expanding team, web toolbox, and more complex projects. They wanted to reflect their growth through this rebrand exercise, which was what brought about Haystack.
Leading a revitalisation exercise for Haystack by creating a sophisticated and approachable brand that can perfectly highlight their new toolset, powered for strategy-led web solutions.
Challenge
We were approached by then Uwejja, to help them with a rebranding exercise. Our challenge with this rebrand was encapsulating the brand in refinement while allowing the playful and creative tone of the brand to shine through and still be recognisable. This new brand had to show the growth that the brand has experienced including expanding their portfolio internationally and focusing their offering on UI/UX services.
Our Contribution
Our focus was on creating a modern and sleek brand while also ensuring that it can translate well into a user-friendly platform. The design team and web team worked hand in hand to cater for a seamless and polished user experience. Through the creative freedom entrusted to us by the client, we were able to experiment with innovative designs and interaction to achieve the goals set out to us.



Value Given
This exercise allowed the brand to highlight their expertise and amplify what was already built to evolve and bring fresh ideas to their clientele. The rebrand shows what they’ve done, how they’ve evolved, and where their future is heading.
