A household name in interiors and design, Pippa Toledo is widely recognised as one of Malta’s most accomplished interior designer, gifted artist and fashion couturier. Moving into the digital age with a new improved website, our role was to give a fitting web design experience that is synonymous with the brand’s refined ethos.

a unique UI/UX design fitting a prestigious, local household name
Pippa Toledo, wanted a user experience that matches her design philosophy and set her apart in her industry. This project was realised in collaboration with Emma Diacono Ltd. and developed Aqubix.
The design relied heavily on white to achieve the ‘pure’ look. The mixture of sans-serif body text with a serif stencil font matched the products perfectly, making the experience flow from one item to the next. Since most of Pippa’s creations are colourful in nature, the black and white interface provided a neutral background for the products to shine. All the buttons were crafted with contrasting hover effects, providing strong feedback to the user when interacting with the website, making the experience easy and intuitive. Transitions were kept as soft as possible to keep a smooth flow, invoking a sense of calmness when browsing through the website, reflecting the mood in Pippa’s physical shops.
