Challenge
As the leading cryptocurrency company in Malta, servicing high-end businesses and individuals, Payhound had already established itself as a trusted name in the digital payments space. However, they recognised the need for a refreshed brand identity that could capture both their innovative spirit and the level of trust expected by premium clients. They wanted to position themselves not just as a technical service provider but as a payments company offering a sophisticated, reliable alternative to traditional methods. The challenge was to create a visual and strategic identity that bridged the complexity of fintech with the clarity and confidence their high-end clients expect.
Our Contribution
Sancho was tasked with rethinking how Payhound communicated its story. We developed a comprehensive brand refresh, blending design and strategy into a cohesive identity, including new branding systems, graphic design, illustration, motion design, and UI/UX. The approach focused on sophistication and flexibility - the brand systems were designed to be adaptable while retaining a consistent visual language. We also incorporated the Pharaoh Hound into the new logo, a distinctive Maltese symbol representing agility, loyalty, and prestige. Through bold visuals, intuitive interfaces, and a thoughtfully structured identity, we helped Payhound present itself as both professional and trustworthy, appealing to a discerning audience in a highly competitive market.
